Tye Basham

Tye Basham brings twenty years of experience leading complex initiatives across hospitals, health systems, and diagnostic laboratories to Doc Lab®. Over the past five years, he has focused on clinical diagnostics and laboratory services, building and scaling multi-state diagnostic ventures — including overseeing operations at a national reference laboratory as specimen volume grew nearly tenfold while maintaining quality, compliance, and turnaround times through that scale of growth.

A strategic thinker and creative problem solver, Tye began his career in business consulting at Accenture, developing deep expertise in project management and process improvement. He has since built and led Program Management Offices for multiple organizations and holds Lean Six Sigma certification. Before moving into the laboratory space, he spent more than a decade in hospital administration and revenue cycle management with Tenet Healthcare and Conifer Health Solutions, leading cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with clients, physicians, and executives. He holds a business degree from Baylor University, where he majored in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. For Tye, operational discipline and relationship-driven leadership go hand in hand: growth only matters when it delivers results labs and patients can count on.
