Julia Johns

Julia Johns brings hands-on medical laboratory expertise to her role as Field Application Laboratory Scientist at Doc Lab®. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Dixie State University and a phlebotomy certificate from the Utah School of Phlebotomy, and is highly proficient in RT-PCR processing on platforms including the Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast and QuantStudio systems — skills she brings directly into client laboratories in the field, working hands-on with the technologists there to build their confidence and capability.

Before joining Doc Lab, Julia served as General Supervisor at SoftCell Laboratories, where she helped raise operational efficiency and quality standards. Her working fluency with OSHA, CDC, and EPA guidelines, HIPAA, and CLIA regulation means every practice she supports gets more than technical setup — it gets a partner in running a safe, compliant, precise laboratory. For Julia, giving 100% of herself is a requirement: it's what ensures that the people and the testing she invests in deliver with accuracy and excellence at all times.
