Dr. Dorothy Wong joins our team as a Board-Certified Pathologist with dual expertise in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology. Uniquely positioned with both an M.D. from UC San Diego and a J.D. from Georgetown University, Dr. Wong brings exceptional interdisciplinary insight to pathology leadership.

Currently serving as Chair of Pathology at Regional Medical Center of San Jose, Dr. Wong has distinguished herself directing multiple CLIA-certified laboratories specializing in molecular diagnostic testing. Her impressive career includes laboratory directorships at Adela Bio, UCSF St. Mary’s Hospital, SummerBio, and Target Dx, where she has overseen development of cutting-edge assays including early cancer detection using plasma cell-free DNA methylomes.

Following specialized fellowship training in Hematopathology at the University of New Mexico/Tricore Reference Labs, Dr. Wong has established a proven track record guiding laboratory startups through certification and CLIA accreditation. A recipient of the Physician Clinical Excellence Award, she maintains active membership in the College of American Pathologists and has contributed significantly to medical literature in cytopathology and hematopathology.
